Its that you said name a farmer that lobbies. I'm saying its not individual farmers. but groups of them. there are just as much citizen, and union lobbying as corporate lobbying.

I wouldn't say that. I'd say that they are taking advantage of a situation, and that the true robber barons are government officials.

Take away the power of government and you effectively take the power away from state condoned monopolies.

You do realize that there are farming corporations, right? Usually important businesses lobby government. The more important your business is to the welfare of society, the easier you can convince government to grant you subsidies. Farmers would most definitely seek out government subsidies. Same as green energy companies.

How is it robbing when we receive something in return? What is robbing is government forcing the prices of food and oil up to fill their pockets. Actually working on a farm and earning money is no crime.
