  • can you plugin a guitar or base in the xlr inputs??

  • Are any of these field recorder videos recorded outside in the real world?

  • This thing is so good. I am so glad I purchased one. I use it with my Canon 7D for audio.

  • this thing is too big to fit in your pocket just saying

  • Dynamic mics like the Sure SM58 have a high noise floor unless you use a seperate pre-amp and run line input all be it -10dB,it will record 24/96 but an 8Gig card (if you find one that the machine likes as not all SD/SDHC cards work) will record for 7hrs 40mins not that the battery lasts that long 3hrs 45min from a full charge 1800mAh 3.7V li-ion.

BUT WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FOR <£350:00 UK an SD 702 :0)

  • PRO Audio built like a Tank ..yea a water tank it bloody plastic the only metal is a dressing on the sides and base, 48V has not enough current to run a Rode NT1a and kills the 1800mAh battery in 2 hours use a seperate PSU for you mic and if you record in mp3 you will get the run times printed.

on unit mics are poor and suffer from handling noise and XLR has a squeeling noise on some mics like a dodgy decoupling Cap.

low gain on the input even on high gain may well as been a noise enhancer.

  • yes 2.0

  • there is usb slot on left side

  • no usb?
