I weigh 210 lbs. I have gone 22 miles on one charge before. Hills take a great toll on the batteries. There are all kinds of formulas to show power usage vs incline vs weight. If you are lighter weight, or if you live in a fairly flat area, this scooter may be ideal. If you are heavy or have numerous hills, you may opt for gas powered. The tactic to climb hills is to allow the speed to drop as the motor strains. You may be down to 5 mph at the top, but that keeps it from overheating the motor.
What's it like going up steep hills?
