To be honest I didn't think it was funny untill I've heard it many times before. The first time I listened to it, I was like, "Man this is the song I've been waiting to sing about a specific girl". Whatever it is, it's a great song, and a great cover too! :D

@joebrim actually it's a true story about how Rivers Cuomo tried and failed to pursue a relationship with a lesbian, so he wrote it not to be funny at all.
