@Oldman5675 The colloseum isn't ignored like you say. It's kept in it's current, weathered condition. But that doesn't mean it isn't maintained. If cracks are spotted or anything that may danger it's structural integrity, crews are sent in to repair it.
The colloseum's old look is kept for authenticity, but it still has to be maintained for it to keep standing.
@TheRealXboxNerd Mount Rushmore won't probebly collapse. The faces of the presidents will slowly be ereased by winds over a thousands of years. Since Stonehedge is made of pure stone, it to will not be rusted or cracked like buildings of steel and concrete, it will slowly be removed by wind.
@Oldman5675 Well it has been severely damaged, hence the big chunk that is missing today. So there is a possibility it could suddenly collapse. And the time that it falls in this show is probably 1000+ years after we go. So it is quite possible.
@Oldman5675 ive never seen the show, so im not 100% sure of the time spans we're considering here, but on a scale of tens, if not hundreds of thousands of years, its quite plausible for even the ancient architectural achievements to crumble
So the colloseum which has been standing for two millenia, one of which people payed no attention to it, is just going to collapse all at once because were no longer here?
