Wasn't that the reason for the German's creating their own vernacular Bible because they couldn't read write or speak Latin? haha

@CoxJoxSox: You're wrong. The Latin read as they wrote. It's always a problem for the English speakers to read by letters and not apply the English rules. Actually, your "Latin" pronunciation is off.

Well as someone who grew up speaking Latin, who went to church in Latin and who studied Latin at the University level under a person who is arguably the foremost Latin scholar in the world (Carmella Franklin - who now works for the Vatican translating rare Latin texts) I probably know what I'm talking about.
