October 27th - System Shock 2

For the month of October I have decided to review 31 of the best horror video games. 31 games in 31 days - all coming from the 'horror' genre of games that I have played in my lifetime as a gamer. This list may change over the years, but enjoy as I unravel the best of the best. If you have ideas, suggestions, or comments please feel free to leave them. Great review. Would you consider Bioshock a horror game.

@zztoprules1 Thanks for checking it out. I wouldn't consider Bioshock a horror game but you could stretch it a bit if you needed it for a list like this. It doesn't have the same tone as most of the horror games I have played in the past but does share some qualities.

nice review, but one little error in your narration, the game takes place in 2114. Just thought I'd bring that to mind :)

It didn't sell well because of DOOM, I still have to try this but I am worried about how you can save in this game and how the game, as it is old, if it will show objectives and destinations clear and make it understandable of what and where I have to go and do basically.

I just beat it this morning... it took me all summer to complete...oh good lord I can whole heartedly say that im content with this being the greatest game I have ever played and im not going to ever forget it

@HAETMUNGOR You know, I would love this game if they were to just re-release it as an exact copy with updated graphics. It would take very minimal work, and they could cash in hardcore on it. Hell, its already got all the voice acting in it already... its almost flawless.

I wouldn't expect to see system shock 3 any time soon, maybe if deus ex : human revolution sells well EA might decide to do something with the SS IP to cash in on its success. Here's hoping at least!
