@Tphilpott1 I guess some people are still hoping to wake up and find money under the pillow.

Forget linguistics. The essence of this posting is utter ignorance. To believe there was a tower of Babel, to believe it was an explanation for linguistic diversity, is to believe in the tooth fairy.

The people that claim the diversity of language is cause of the tower of Babel and god.. Is either really stupid, or isn't too logical (For me it's in most cases the same.) ..
God, as most people describe him, WOULDN'T have done shit like that.. No matter what.. Oh look at all of those skyscrapers, they're higher then the tower of babel has ever been, and do you see god doing his mischev now? .. Hell it's been proven that god doesn't live in the sky as well.. Stop spewing shit creationists..

@adrianwbourne I find it's best if we simply ignore the insane rantings and continue onto serious discussions. After all, the topic of this video still has numerous scientific ideas pertaining to it. I personally find it interesting that they're able to use computational simulations to help for hypotheses.

@ferrel81...and it gets worse. I just pulled up the map of Y-DNA Human Migration (Haplogroups) that soundchristian provides as evidence that we came from "somewhere in the Middle East," and that map clearly shows that the various groups settled all over the world 10 to 60 thousand years ago. (for example Aborigines 50,000 years ago.) Did the soundchristian even look at the map? Did he think no one else would? Jeez!!

@ferrel81 from the end notes: "The information presented here is only an interpretation of historical research and Biblical data. Certain assumptions may not be accurate, and new discoveries can change group references." They leave out the Chinese who exist before, during and after supposed world-wide flood. The science that IS there is incomplete and badly presented, with no references. You've discovered copious amounts of unsupported, naked assertions. Sorry, not dazzled by this bullshit.
