Okay, so I'm enough of a geek to admit I like Stargate SG-1, and Amanda Tapping is increasingly becoming one of my favorite actresses. So, after flipping through the channels one night, I was pretty excited to see her in a role that wasn't Sam Carter. Though frankly, after watching this entire episode and seeing exactly what her role in it is, I think it's so so fitting that she went on to do Stargate after this. UFO's... the Air Force... Area 51, I don't think she's been typecasted, but I'm sure this ep. was good practice for her future character.
