hey friends !
this video shows a very simple turtle basking area made of glass . the tank is just 9 gallons . i have made a perfect habitat for the red ear slider turtles. you can see 4 turtles inside the tank and some tiny fishes. the basking area or topper is just a glass plate with some stairs . it is kept on three corner supports. it can be removed while cleaning the tank.

  • Where did you get the glass stairs set up?

  • @linley616 i ordered my aquarium man to fabricate this idea of glass stairs ..he carved it perfectly ...no sharp edges at all... turtles enjoy basking on the glass at the top.

  • whats the white fish?

  • I like your tank but do you want to make your turtle tank more beautiful and have a nice playground for them to enjoy look at my video turtles and koi fish are haveing so much fun in my gravity aquarium

  • Nice set up, I have 4 turtles. A yellow belly slider, a mexican ornate slider, a mississippa map turtle and a Florida Soft shell. gonna get a 160g tank

  • @dreros3030 lol based on that theory, you're going to eventually need 650 gallons for your group! xD

  • omg! i luv that! its super cute! glass stairs WTH?!?! luv it!!!!

  • wut is tht grass

  • @ytube1990 Well, considering these turtles live in huge ponds in the wild, 10 gallons per inch is a very small amount to begin with. Although babies (like the ones in this video) would be fine in less than 10 gallons per inch, a full grown one would need at minimum 60 gallons EACH turtle

  • @ytube1990 I'm thinking Map Turtles instead. I know 20 Gallons is very small for them but It would be ok for 2 of them as babies wouldn't it? I mean its better than the condition most fish shops have them in :)

I would move them to a much bigger one when the times comes though.
