This album is SO DAMN GOOD. I think it's my absolute favorite Elbow album from start to finish.

@ELJ1995 when i hear "The Nigh Will Always Win" i hear the timbre of Peter Gabriel and "The River" to me brings to mind "Red Rain", I make the comparison, in a good way. To my mind, i make a subtle link twixt the two of them. i was hoping to like this band and recording and i do.
