@johncenafan118 Plus he died at the power level of...about 8000-9000 I think? He rivaled King Vegeta after his near death with fighting Dudaria(however you spell it). This is what I've understood. Idk if that's true.

@johncenafan118 I think since Goku was raised in earth he didn't hold back hes feelings as much as the rest of the saiyans, making it easier to become a super saiyan.

@Xmark3000 Um , Bardock`s never actually met King Vegeta due to the King being even more elitist than his son and refusing to associate with " low-class soldiers " like Bardock , like most Saiyans he`s only heard stories about King Vegeta , infact the only connection is they were both powerful Saiyan warriors whom Frieza personally killed after an unsuccessful attack , ironically Bardock put up more of a fight , Frieza killed King Vegeta with one blow .
