    it takes few hours, depending on the kind of meat you use, lamb takes longer than beef. if your meat are big pieces will take longer of course. this dish needs to cook for 3 to 4 hours on med. and covered. I normally cook it a day ahead of time. good luck

    dried limes ( these are called limo omani, and is regular lime that has been dried) you also can use powerd limo omani. please let me know if you have any other questions. thank you
