This Lamborghini has been created from the ragingpixels tutorial (search google and you'll find it) in Cinema 4d by Maxon.

This is my first time building a car in C4D (actually, first time building a car full stop), took about 15 hours in total. There are quite a few bits missing. The rear lights are not good, there is no floor panel under the front bumper and there is no interior. I'll get around to these one day. The tutorial from ragingpixels is excellent; by far the best I've seen. Like a lot of others I found good tutorials hard to find, especially for beginners like me but this one really made the whole process very easy. I recommend watching something like the lynda.com tutorials for C4D to get the basics right before watching the tutorial.

I've been using cinema 4D for about 2 weeks. I Pushed sketchup way past it's limits and wanted something else that I could push further for more high poly projects. Studio Max is an excellent product but far from simple and the learning curve is very high. C4D is a lot easier to learn and quicker to get good results from......in my opinion.

I'll post more from my next project when it's complete. Please vote and comment!

  • I dont wana be mean, but this is a bad model of car. You need to do some more details in modeling of something like that.

  • @Access360 I agree with you saying it needs more detail, hence me saying in the video information "there are quite a few bits missing, lights, floor, interior etc.". For a finished model it would be terrible, for a nearly finished project, I agree with every other comment on here............It's great ;)

  • Thanks ragingpixels, your tutorial is spot on. I seem to remember downloading it from the deviantart site now you mention it.

Hypershot is excellent, my favourite for rendering things like this though not perfect for everything.

The music a stock tune from imovie 09. It doesn't have an official title, just a couple of minutes of royalty free music :)

    Thanks for the comment!
