im from Manhattan Beach. Yeah I remember that whale tail at the entrance. I went to Marineland a few times when I was a kid before they closed it down. In summer of 06 i walked around the remains of the place. I Went in the old cliffside theater and the baja reef exhibit. It was pretty cool/eerie going through there.

yea- it was soo cool - I saw them in that area for about two hours. I first caught a glimpse from starbucks and couldn't believe how noone else had noticed.
Do you live in PV ? I remember when Marineland was open that they said something about the whale tail flap -
