Canon Hv30: Hague MMC, the Steady Cam Test

Okay, this is just a test. We just wanted to see how this steady cam worked outside with a little breeze blowing and it performed pretty well. But I will say this, if its really windy outside, good luck trying to get a steady look. Also I saw other videos of this Steady cam with people walking up stairs, running down the street which is cool but I wanted to post a video with the mmc doing dolly and crane like shots. And I know the lens is dirty but we weren't concerned about that.

Thanks for this video, I was really wondering wether this steadycam was good or not, and it looks awesome for its price! Although, do you reckon it would work if I had an adapter and lense on the front of my HV30 with a little metal support?

lol good eyes you have. I like this steady cam alot definitely worth the money. If you use an adapter things start to get real tricky. The weight is one and then the wind blowing may affect it

man the quality of that steady cam is great....almost hard to believe its 700 bucks less than the merlin. i might need to finally get one....great video by the way..and like the song.

nomather if the lense is dirty its about your test video and for me its clear enough that this hague mmc is a perfect product, even with the dirty lese i still like the video tho. greets

Do you use any other lenses or larger battery packs? Im wondering if it's better for me to get the hauge dslr stabilizer instead of the mini. I use an hv40.
