Man these guys are beyond fantastic, all of the Decemberists are very talented. I've been listening to these guys since I was 6, that was in 05' and I never can't get sick of the soothing melody

It must be awful when a dodgy performance finds its way up here. Its there forever for all to laugh and snipe at. I think many of us would be shocked if they heard how dodgy some of our pop idols can sound if you catch them at the wromg moment. It does not mesn they are talentless or been exposed as 'the fakes they are'. Just like a sportsman etc , they can have a duff day.
I still love this video, love this song and most of all this utterly superb band. They do it for me big time. Love em!

What I love about this band is that it seems like there's no auto tuning. I listen to this live recording and the pitch is still just as centered here as it is on the cd recording. Yes the singer is tired and slips up a bit, but it's not enough to sacrifice quality.

Those people look so EXHAUSTED. They deserve a break. They're good- really. Especially live. Colin and Petra just look so tired, like they need to rest. Colin's voice is even cracking. He needs water. He's sweating. Yet he's still performing soley for the entertainment of us. So respect him. Respect anyone who does that.
