Who Really Wants Capitalism? Not Your Average Corporation!

Corporations don't want capitalism. Capitalism forces them to compete on a level playing field with anyone who wants to start a company. Corporations want governments to get involved. Corporations know that government contracts can give them a monopoly, give them protection from regulation, and give them massive profits. Just look at who backed the recent attempt at the Health Care takeover: health insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and medical technology companies. When government takes over an industry, it almost always leads to Corporatism, which ultimately hurts the average citizen.
