@qaulluq Yeah me too I went in before I even knew there was waterfalls in the cave. I was on my pc version and I was playing without any cheats and I found a heap of Skeletons and dead bodys....I found these plates with writing on them too... It was pretty but FREAKY!

There isn't any powerful monster hiding in the cave lol the "terror" which the tablets speak of was Meridia's vengeance upon the Ayleids for building over one of her shrines. She buried the Ayleid city with her roots

Its actually a former shrine to Meridia (the daedric god), but then the Ayleids build over it and Meridia got pissed and let the whole thing collapse, thats what the tablets discribe.

if you look carefully enough theres aylid tablets describing some sort of apocalyptic terror that came or maybie is still there, to me it soudns like something more is hiding in that cave and my lvl 40 knight wants to find it!
