I started stocking up on incandacsent light bulbs 3 years ago because of statist pricks like this guy! Not a moment too soon because you cannot buy 95 or 100 watt bulbs anymore in stores!

None of my CFL bulbs have lasted more than 2 years...and they have IMO inferior light and cost more and contain more dangerous chemicals and have disposal hassles. They also dont work as well in very cold climates. So for 99% of people who run a bulb for an hour or two a night, I think its not even an issue. The only time CFL bulbs make a lot of sense is in industries or corporations that may leave lights on for 24 hours a day.
I've started stocking up on incandescent bulbs...

@cradleconvert im glad that theres a limit to where ppl can run for senate, so that we can get moron liberals like this guy out of office and prevent him from doing more damage. what i find amusing is that this man actually believes global warming is caused by humans. i really hope that once in awhile, he looks at this video again AND reads the comments so that he knows how much of a dummy he is. we outa break some CFLs and pour some mercury into his food, then we'l see if he still likes CFLs.

You are the dimmest bulb in the chandelier. I am a lighting specialist, and I can tell you you are wasting your time. This legislation will never stick. Quarter deposits and light bulb refund centers? I will not drive a light bulb around in my car for 25 cents when gas is $4 per gallon, you idiot! Yes, let's start a whole new bureaucracy of idiots handing out quarters for light bulb return. Brilliant! Good Lord in heaven, how do we get this kind of a moron running our country?!?!?

This guy is the dimmest bulb in the chandelier. Senator, stay out of our homes and our businesses. If CFL's are so great, people will choose them. They are all made in China, so there goes the American light bulb industry. Another way to damage America.
