If you have a lot of RAM and run Server 2003 I bet it could hold all the maps in memory, then they DO load fast ;)

@ihateu1979 yea thats faster then my boot up times by a good 6 seconds. and i'm running a sata 6 WD black with 64MB cache 500GB dual platter.
My 3.7Ghz clock speed though really helps on boot times to though.
only thing that makes me go :( with SSD's is the degeneration , but then again HDD's rarely last more then a few years unless it happened to get all the perfect parts on a assembly line

I should state that this was an online map load up, if it was offline there would be no hesitation at the "verifying client data" screen
