  • In these parts of Latin America (I'm from Costa Rica, Central America) we call this kind of music Rumba Flamenco, a mix between the spanish flamenco styles with the latin rumba rythims.

There a famous duo called Strunz & Farah (Jorge Strunz is from Costa Rica) who also play rumba flamenco.

I think they are both great musicians, but Gabriela's strumming technique simply blows my mind. What an amazing player!

  • yeah :) in ethnimusicology lesson we call that just flamenco....it doesn't matter if its mixed with other style melodies...it reminds flamenco! and dude Gabriela's rhythmical techniques are insane! i upload this video because it helps a lot!

  • thanks for the upload but they arent flamenco

  • sometimes they are!

  • no no! it's just normaly tune! ebgdae! ok look dude:) this progresion is simple.... 1rst chord = Em, 2nd = Am and the 3rd = Bmajor.... and the progresion is [1, 2, 3, 2]]

simple:) if you need healp msg me:)
