Tracy Rector and Annie Silverstein of Longhouse Media won the 2009 National Association for Media Literacy Education Award! The award is given every 2 years and past recipients include Bill Moyers and NOW, NPRs On the Media with Brooke Gladstone and Bob Garfield, and Jon Stewart and the Daily Show, to name a few. The award recognizes outstanding contributions made in media literacy and education on a national scale. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the awards ceremony in person, but you can watch Tracy and Annies acceptance speech by checking out our You Tube Channel. We would like to thank NAMLE for this honor, and everyone who has supported our work!
