@MrWanagethigh well, of course this come late, but yes: This is the same transformation as the one he used in Onimusha 3, including the sword (only that sword with this blue glow and lines looks MUCH BETTER then the not glowing one of O3, but except that, it is the same. ONly the waist armor is different! but everything else is the same!

was that his oni awakening like in normal gameplay in the third game or was it the full onimusha form he uses in the fial boss fight against nobunaga? and also was there any form of oni awakening usable in warlords cuz its the only one i havent played

i get the creator wanted to expose the SUPERPOWER of the ONI.... its a dumb move, but credible in the circumstance (forbindas wounds, desparation, oni power etc...)

That's what made the ending sequence so interesting : personally I couldn't wait for the sequel to understand how and why Samanosuke turned into a super warrior.
