Peking University's Men's Eight Sinks at Head of the Charles

Apparently their boat collided with another boat at Weeks Bridge, and then finally sank at Eliot Bridge. I was standing on the bridge right above them when they sank.

this was chinas first time competing in the US, due to visa issues their cox couldnt get into the US, so they had to find a cox to fill in that could speak chinese, they sure found one...

@SuperHujintao I'm a native of Dundee and did my first degree at Dundee University. First, I apologise on behalf of any racism you encountered in the city. However, I sincerely doubt that the staff are "deeply racist towards Chinese students". The staff are too international for that. My g/f is Chinese and we have never had any problems there. I would like to warn Chinese students who are currently studying at Peking Uni & who might want to do postgrad studies at the University of Dundee in Scotland, UK, to THINK TWICE. The staff at the University of Dundee are deeply racist towards Chinese students, in particular, and the city of Dundee has seen several attacks against Chinese (and other colored) students in the past few years. Also, the academic standing of this university is low & Chinese students should not consider coming here.

It's not a Wintech. It's a Pocock. I saw the boat after the race. There was a section of the bow that just broke off.

From what I heard, there was a collision where the bow snapped but after another stroke it snapped back in place... but after a while it fully broke and they sunk under the bridge...

I think, from the other videos, the coxswain was the only person who didn't try and swim to shore...

I can't believe the coxswain thought it was just a bump! My coach would have killed and then disowned me if I had broken the bow.
