The Brazilian Foreign Minister, Celso Amorim, said Monday outside an emergency talks on international aid to Haiti in Montreal, that the UN must take charge in cooperation with the Haitian government. In front of the OACI protesters railed against the US's involvement in the distribution of aid to Haiti. Several nations, including the US, France, Brazill, Spain and Mexico, participated in the conference with the United Nations and other international organizations, which was chaired by Canadian Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon.
