At the time this aired, wonder what Blackhawks fans thought of Bobby Hull. At the time, Bobby Hull was playing for the Winnipeg Jets of the World Hockey Association, and it angered the team a lot. He signed for $1 million, and that was just his signing bonus, quite a bit for 1972. It was his WHA signing that paved way for other NHL superstars of the time, including Gordie Howe and Frank Mahovolich.

I had found out the answer in the interim and posted the information on Wikipedia from watching other episodes on ESPN Classic. (which have gone now, it appears)

because the Blackhawks missed a question and on the free throw's if a team misses a question, the other team gets to answer the question for double points.
