Bonaventure Cemetery is probably the most famous cemetery in Savannah. This cemetery was featured in the book and movie, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. It is a great setting for taking photographs and in this case I used a digital infrared camera. This series, I left the color cast in the photos. I have also posted a version in black and white.

This is incredibly beautiful! I just got back from Savannah. I went over Christmas...I visited Bonaventure Cemetery one day and was so moved I had to return the next day. I never felt such a peace....You have captured the beauty of this great place.....Thank you!

This is a great example of what infrared can do!..excellent!.
The only thing lacking in this slideshow was some great music!.. Why don't you do that?...it would certainly elevate this slideshow to a much higher level. I was at this cemetary a few years ago, and loved it!.. I also loved Savannah's "Old District".
