Shadow is possibly the best character in the game to use, given you aren't super-leveled and over-equipped. Decent magic strength, amazing damage with thrown weapons, and a natural 20% block/evade with Interceptor, who then proceeds to bite the enemies nuts off.

Shadow is my 3rd favorite character to play as. Second is Edgar, first is Locke. Never did see all of his dreams, only one or two of them.

I thought that too in my first playthrough, until I discovered he deals awesome damage with something as cheap as a shuriken.
