I've been testing out the BO2 Fore Grip for the better part of two days now. After numerous types of testing with every weapon, I've determined that this attachment does nothing. Well, it does help a little bit on the Scar-H but even that is a pretty weak relationship. On some weapons it seems to make the recoil worse for some reason. This episodes explains the gun kick mechanic on Black Ops 2, how I tested it, why I think it does nothing, and has a montage of wall plots for proof.

What if you're just using the Placebo Effect on us as an experiment to see if our mind tricks us into not noticing a difference with the grip attachment?

thats good actually because a grip in 'real life' doesnt improve accuracy, just gies youa referance for your hand for snap shooting actually.

The grip does something. It increases center speed. That is the mechanism for the recoil in BO2. So you're right about the different system. However, every weapon gets a 0,4 increase in center speed, which means, indeed no recoil decrease, but it triggers your placebo effect. The recoil seems to decrease, while in fact the iron sights return to their original postion faster than usual. This is the grip and placebo effect explained. Sorry for the long post. but it often gives you better grip than the actual gun, so it can improve your accuracy greatly in some cases, depending on the gun's shape

I noticed that all it does is hold tighter spreads in sections. for instance if you wasted a clip on the wall there is more singular bullet holes around if you dont have grip. If you have grip it just makes the bullets group together but in different places. if you get what i mean look at the pics and you will see

The Scar-H acts exactly the same with or without grip!

it does work for the type 25 i couldnt use it effectively at first and found that of all the attachments fore grip helped it best

is a video game, the placebo effect doesn't work in video games weather or not its working in real life. if you notice a change in the game its not because of  the placebo effect because the accuracy isn't affected by what you do but what the game does so idk what your talking about
