A friend owed me some money and didn't have it to give me, so he gave me his bike instead. It looks just like this one. If any of you are interested in it cheap, contact me. I figure 2k would be a steal. If interested drop a line.

I had the same bike. Put reverse cone Norton type pipes on it and cut the side cases to fit 2 K&N aircleaners. upped the carb jets. Bike really ran better!. Put Akront wider alum rims, rearsets and 1 in rise low bars on it. Rode it for over 35,000 miles before I sold it. Selling it was one of the many STUPID things I have ever done. I miss it!

I did that once with my cable after a rebuild, didn't notice it untill I smelled it melting on the exhuast pipe..!

Nice bike.
But you need to re-route the clutch cable away from the exhaust pipe.
Take it up vertical from the gearbox then along the top frame tube under the fuel tank.

Are the 140E's the ones with the 4 speed gearbox's?

the t140e's were made for export. they have left foot shifter on a five speed gearbox attached to the 750cc engine in a unit construction. they store the oil in the backbone of the frame and the fuel tank is a little smaller too, which in my opinion, looks way sexier.

This bike is all stock, even has the original stickers on the frame and rear fender. The onl thing it lacks is turn signals and side views, which were taken off to make it look cleaner. It runs perfectly and has no issues at all. I ride it everyday and love it.
