  • I've always wondered this. If you are shooting subsonic ammo haven't you basically destroyed the ballistics of the .338 (3000fps)? Because you have to keep the speed under 1000 fps to prevent the sonic crack. This greatly reduces range and energy transmitted to target. Am I right on this. I mean I guess you could use super sonic ammo and still get a dampening effect but not like sub sonic does.

  • You have absolutely right: These videos were with standard ammonition. I normally dont use subsonic ammo.

I believe in making decent suppressors, that hunters and shooters can put what ever they like through.

  • where did you get the suppressor from.

  • If you have read the description, i guess you could figurre out the following: My username is HagelbergArms+the suppressor is a Hagelberg=The mans own brand ;-)

  • Does it sound like a .22?

  • Hvad står sådan en h10+ i ca?

  • lol at 0:26...even ricers can ruin a supressor vid

  • i need one!

  • I can't find a silencer for mine where did u get yours

  • My R700 Does not have Mounts for a Silencer. And Other the buying a new Barell/Gun, or getting it Tapped, Is there Any other way to attach one?

  • A substantial part of the recoil is caused by the gasses exiting the muzzle at high velocity. A suppressor eliminates or reduces this contribution. So less recoil with a suppressor.

  • That is why you normally don't use subsonic ammo. Only in cases where you need to be really silent will you use that.

And still .338 subsonic will outperform smaller calibers in subsonic version.

  • i think sako is a very good weapon.
