My Cerulean Cave shiny arrives!

As part of jbtenseventeens shiny hunting contest, me and my partner (Pokegamma) were assigned to get one random encounter shiny and one Masuda Method shiny between us. Pokegamma wanted to Masuda Method a shiny Mudkip, so therefore I went for the Random Encounter shiny, with my lucky FireRed as my only option. With this, I also decided to choose the most gimmicky area possible for me to hunt in. I chose the Cerulean Cave, where a variety of Pokemon can be found. On my second day of hunting, and after approximately 3000 encounters, my shiny had appeared. It isn't the one I wanted, and its nature is horrible, but a shiny is a shiny, and I'm happy for any of them. Now, all I have to do is wait for Pokegamma to get his shiny Mudkip, and then we can move on to the next round!

There isn't a way of SRing for Paras, and I was planning to save the Mt Moon Paras chamber for another hunt.

I actually wanted Parasect from the Cerulean Cave, seeing as how it is the only one that can't be chained in there, but a Primeape was good as well!

I was actually worried when it showed up, as Primeape could easily kill my Magneton. However, it never used Cross Chop in the entire fight! Guess it's my luck...
