Chuggington Die Cast Mega Review

A detailed look at a very special double set which is a Target exclusive containing Training Yard with Loop & Wilson Gets a Wash.

This amazing double pack only cost me $55.20 for 64 pieces! I also have a good look over the dynamic duo Hoot and Toot.

Chuggington 'Die Cast' toy trains are very similar to the Thomas and Friends Take Along's (Take-n-Play). I have my very first look at the Chuggington Die Cast track system and uncover some alarming discoveries. This track system has some great cross compatibility and features not found in other toy train track systems.

I'm pretty sure the Thomas and Friends army will be secretly impressed with the Training Yard with Loop, it's a really fun playset to have and really adds some excitement to the toy train environment.

i have this set and found that once i discovered that the track pieces for the Wilson gets a wash set are labelled underneath to match the code on the instructions it was a lot quicker to put together. but i must say the labelling could have been made easier to read, or at least something on the instructions advising of this would have been good as well.

i must also say my son loves his Chuggington train sets.

@tassie742 lol, you did better than me, mind you I rushed in thinking it would be easy. The loop set is marked really clearly on the back of the track very similar to how Hot Wheels do it via CAPITAL LETTERS, A - A, B - B. C - C and so on, also the loop set has all custom track.

One thing for sure is if you loose the instructions your stuffed trying to build Wilson gets a wash!

My son has it to play with now, I wonder if he will use it like his Thomas Take n Plays

Don't worry Leo. Certain toys are very time consuming and annoying. I think I have allready mentioned this before but oh well. A cobi Doctor Who set which I got for christmas took me four hours to build due to certain pieces being unable to stay together.

@tidmouthmilk12 normally train sets are pretty simple, especially when it's a toy designed for 3 year olds

good review i have the loop set but since the area where i set up my trains is carpet i had to tape that boutten on the botom for it to work also where i live which is america i have only seen the cojoined version of hoot and toot who are my faverite chuggington charectors

I will admit that the chuggington sets and engines do look cool. It's just that the show itself in my opinion sucks, no offense to anyone who likes it.

Have You thought of Creating a Track adapter that can connect the Chuggington rails together with the Take Along/Take-n-play Rails?
