Tricity Vogue performs her original song Glamour In Austerity (otherwise known as "It Sucks Balls") at The Winter of Discontent, produced and hosted by Dusty Limits at the Arcola Tent, Dalston, London, on Wednesday 18 January 2012. Tricity wrote the song specially for the show.

Thanks to stage manager extraordinaire, Rhian Kennedy, for the inspiration for the song, which came from a facebook chat during which Ms Kennedy expressed the opinion that her current state of poverty "sucked balls". Thanks too to Josephine Shaker, for volunteering the information that she got free shoes by sending men photos of her feet. Burlesque star Lady Ane Angel really has her stocking seams tattooed on the backs of her legs.

The Winter Of Our Discontent was a three -night cabaret show co-presented by Dusty Limits and the Arcola Theatre on 17, 18 and 19 January 2012, and featuring a different, jam-packed bill of cabaret performers each night, many of them premiering new acts inspired by the show's theme. The set was designed by Mr Mistress.
