This is in the Cass Corridor on 3rd and Peterboro. I haven[t been back over there in a minute but I heard that the shelter let's some people in at night. It's the staff that selects who can come in and who can't. I don't know why though. We have provided so much to the homeless, but we can't do enough. Starting next week, we'll be back out there trying to help if it's still like that. This is the only thing in the D that makes me cry. I was so hard to film. That's here near downtown Detroit

Maiden Detroit is holding a donation drive for five charities on Dec 18 from noon until late. Better Detroit Youth Movement, Jackets For Jobs, Mittens For Detroit, Capuchin Soup Kitchen, and Burners Without Borders Detroit are the charities.

This is leading up to a party with a purpose at the club starting at 10pm. So if you're headed out to party think o someone else before you leave ... bring a donation Elysium @ 625 Shelby, Detroit is the place.
