The Launch of the Knowle West Public Art Strategy

What is public art? Who decides where it happens or where it's placed?

On Tuesday 17th May 2011, Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) hosted the launch of The Manual: A Public Art Strategy for Knowle West.

During the evening talk, the 12 "instructions" of the Manual were unveiled and people who live and work in Knowle West shared their thoughts on how the instructions could be realised.

The audience heard from the people who developed the Manual and had the chance to voice their own opinions.
