Dave's Invitation to You to the Symposium

Hello. My name is Dave Gentry. I'm with Westwood Ministries, and I wanted to invite you to the Model Steward Symposium. It will be February 3rd, here in 2011. It will be hosted by the Christian Financial Association of America, headquartered in New Braunfels Texas. The meeting[s] will be held at Oakwood Baptist Church, and you can go to the website of the CFAA (www.ChristianFinancialAssociation.com) and sign up for the symposium. I'm looking forward to being with you as Christian leaders. I want to share a little bit with you on what I'm going to go over during our time there at the Symposium. We know that these are rough economic times that we are going through. Over the years, Westwood Ministries, the last 21 years, has worked with Christian leaders and their families. I'm glad that Pat Hail, and the staff, have decided this year to address the issues of "'Equipping the Equipper', Tools for the Minister's Toolbox". That's what we'll be talking about. Specifically during our sessions together, we're going to be talking about how these difficult economic times are the result of priorities that we as Christian leaders have lived out and how then we can those priorities and lifestyle and set right priorities and values in living for those that we lead. Thus develop a worldview that will lead to different decisions and thus effect our economic well-being. There'll be a good question and answer time and I'm looking forward to being with you and fielding those questions. We work with counseling here at Westwood Ministries, we work with training of Christian leaders and families. So we're going to set aside some questions and talkback. I hope you be with me at the Symposium on February 3rd, with the Christian Financial Association of America.
