@josefilipesampaio if you want more bass get mr8, if you want better transient response get the yamahas. hs80 sound a bit harsh to me. theyre both good monitors for the price. theyre not "easy to the ears" (good thing, unlike the rokits). either way you go you haven't wasted your money.

I BOUGHT THE MACKIES A FEW DAYS AGO AND AS SOON AS I PLUGGED THEM ONE OF THEM HAD A LOUD BUZZING NOISE, WHICH AT THE TIME I THOUGHT IT WAS NORMAL . THEN AFTER USING THEM IN MY HOME STUDIO FOR AROUND 4 HOURS STRAIGHT THEY BOUGH STARTED TO CRACKLE AND NOW THEY ARE COMPLETELY DISTORTED. USELESS FOR THE AMOUNT OF CASH I SPENT ON THEM . ALTHOUGH THEY SOUNDED AMAZING AT FIRST!!
