Are you looking for an efficient yet useful way to study using your mac? Check out Genius, the easy way to memorize things. This piece of freeware is very simple to use: first enter in your questions, then choose the 'difficulty' and begin studying. No flipping through a stack of flash cards or searching for review sheets, all your information is stored digitally. One feature I like are the statistics that genius keeps. The application analyses your responses and adjusts what questions are asked based on your understanding of the material. Essentially, genius helps you study what you don't already know.

@fairuse69 , you are right about flashcard programs sucks. It seemed like the programmers don't know what they need to code. They tossed in loads of useless features and think they are doing a great service. I can't blame them though because to design it, they must enjoy using their software often like almost everyday.

@sharpspike06 Genius isn't crap. I have used both, and I find that Anki, despite having way more features, doesn't fit my needs as well as Genius.

There are so many flash cards apps and so many do it wrong, but the design of Genius is just about perfect!

However, I wish it would let you put a picture on a card. Has anyone else found a flash card app that let's you use media, but also works like Genius?
