You are right it is called "Eliyahu Hanavi synagogue", but the reason I titled it "El Nabi Daniel" because the people around that synagogue called it that way.

I saw it..there is a street called Nabi Daniel street in Alexandria, beautiful building and well kept..

It is wonderful for Jewish people to see that synagogues still stand in Egypt.There are some that do not know that Egypt played a bit of a major role in Judaism. I guess that is the proof that they were never Jews in the first place!
