They dont have to run and jump around like they used to. Dave seems to be focused on his voice which sounds better than ever!!! I rather have them sound better and not run around so much than run around and sound like garbage...

It's hard to tell, but I've always loved the Strat guitar solo on this tune where he switches back and forth from the neck and bridge pickups. Couldn't tell if he did it live, but it looks like a Strat. Anybody know?

Totally agree dude, one of the most underrated songs on 1984. Check out Ed's solo on "I'll Wait on the Madison Square Garden show. You should find it here on utube. It is one of his best, I call it "Ed salutes Clapton solo"!!
