This is a CSXT Diesel Electric Locomotive #6415, pulling some rather new looking Maintenance of Way equipment from a side track onto the mainline at Hawthorne, FL.
I'm positioned under the FL State Rd. 20 overpass.
They appear to be assembling a "work train" as I ridiculously shouted out, there in Hawthorne, which I've learned they often do there, to prepare to replace all of the Grade Crossings between Alachua, FL and Gainesville, FL where that line terminates at NW 23rd Ave (next to the now-closed-forever Koppers Wood Treating Facility).
This was filmed by me, AlecTricFoxx, on 17 DEC 2010 at 12:00 hrs EST using Sony SR-11 HD Digital Video Camera using AVCHD (m2ts) mounted on Bogen Manfrotto tripod with Fluid~Head.
The white Chevrolet Van at end of clip is the machine I use to pace the great folks keeping our rail service alive and well. I kept panning because the sound was so good yet they went around the radius and didn't want to film heat rising off the roadbed. geez :)
Seasons Greetings =^.^=
