Hmm... so, you originally gained EGO by killing enemies. It's a good idea, because that's what would raise your ego, and, rather than hiding behind a wall (how is THAT ego-boosting?!?), it would make players go out and try to gain their EGO back.
So why the hell isn't it in the final game?!?

Duke Nukem Forever should have came out in 2007 or 2009... 2011 was just too late for the Duke... Oh well now I can look forward to Duke Nukem Origins... Gearbox better not fuck this up.
