Either way, you have a right to personal freedom and liberty, but both god and man place conditions on your freedom and liberty. You've been fooled into thinking that liberty comes from an external source. You say, " if freedom does not come from god then it must be from men." I say free your mind for yourself and seek out your own freedom ;)

the expression shooting one self in the foot or biting the hand that feeds you comes to mind. if their is no higher power, as many believe. then your rights too life, liberty, and freedom come from man. and man can take them away. don't believe me, try exercising the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution, at the airport.

This entire battle between creation and evolution is essentially a battle of the egos. Creationists and supporters of evolution have both made a decision to attach thier personal identity and sense of self to ideas, beliefs and theories that no human on the face of the planet or in the course of history could ever prove or disprove. Don't you see the futility in this? Religous beliefs and texts written by humans are NOT PROOF. Theories and research papers written by humans are also... NOT PROOF.

So in short, no, I haven't committed a logical fallacy (i.e. argumentum ad populum)

True, truth is not a matter of opinion but verifiable facts (if we are talking about empiricism). As such, consensus among scientists on a specific field DOES have a lot to do with what is true or not as they are the most qualified people to determine what is true and what is not. I do not have the credentials to determine the truth value of e.g. genetically inherited diseases. A person doing research in genetics does.

Not adding anything to the topic, but you've committed a logical fallacy. If x believes Y is true and 100 x believe Y is false, Y is not therefore false.

They say that a good indicator of when someone is done, is when they start grabbing at straws.

Your last few comments indicate that you have met the criteria.

    Nice talkin' to ya'.

BTW. You're correct. The Doctor's diagnoses can be tested, and in fact it already has been tested. The US has the highest per capita medical expenditure in the world. In fact the US spends as much on medical expenses as all other nations on the Earth combined. The result is the lowest life expectency in the modern world. Perhaps it is because US doctors base their work on evolutionary biology.

No. It can't be tested. Of course, I could be wrong. Did your propoganda professor have acces to some kind of time travel device?
