** THIS IS THE OLD TRAILER for PASSENGER SIDE - http://www.passengersidemovie.com - written and directed by Matt Bissonnette (Looking For Leonard, Who Loves the Sun), starring Adam Scott, Joel Bissonnette and Robin Tunney, and featuring songs from the Silver Jews, Leonard Cohen, Dinosaur Jr., Wilco, and many more.

ABOUT THE FILM:
Michael Brown's (ADAM SCOTT) birthday begins with a telephone call from his estranged, drug addicted brother Tobey (JOEL BISSONNETTE). Tobey is totally unaware that it is his older brother's birthday, but he is very aware that his car is broken, and he begs Michael to drive him on various apparently legitimate, vital errands.

As Bruce Springsteen has astutely noted, "a man who turns his back on his family just ain't no good", and so Michael puts off his seemingly romantic birthday plans, and with his brother embarks on a sketchy, meandering day long odyssey though the mysteries of Los Angeles County.

As the day wears on, it becomes clear that this drive will lead them to some very unexpected destinations.

  • Does anyone know what the First song is? I mean, not "passenger side" of Wilco. Thanks!

  • Its a song called "Punks in the Beerlight" by the Silver Jews.

  • Gale is Beautiful, always, but, I am pissed. Once again, he is in the 'background'! He has SO much more to offer then just his looks. Damn, why doesn't anyone see that!!

  • Gale <3

  • Wait, you mean "Orpheus Descending"? Really?! Ah, you're from the States, right...

I'm a bit anxious about that play: that role is a HUGE responsibility (Tennessee Williams has never been so...Tough)...Wish I was there.

Then...I'm waiting for your review ;)

  • i getcha. i think it's hard to survive in hollywood, have an amazing career and/or be intensely private like him. or perhaps he is, as many fear have been stereotype by qaf.

he is totally underrated. too bad.

i'm excited i get to see him in a play in LA soon.

  • I wasn't talking about mainstream movies, just more important roles. I'd like to see him as a main character more often (even if it's an indie movie, sounds good to me).

There are crowds of beautiful actors, but only a few are really talented. Guess what, he is.

  • i don't think he's into hollywood blockbuster type of movies - from his few interviews he seems ro be really into his craft and move on the side of indie movies.

  • hey, isn't that arnaud from the invisible man? he's cute!

  • I m just disappointed. there is much more in gale than being just an eye candy. i can't figure out why he only play these roles and better yet his very shy and reserved in real life, I don't get it!! other than being brian kinney and vanished, where he was brilliant, I didn't like any of his other caracters even in DH. With his talent he could 've hit the blockbuster but now i think it's too late :(((

  • OMG, he's Derrick from Stepbrothers.

goddamn, i've been trying to figure out where I recognized the guy who plays Michael from.

i feel so much better now that i know, lol

  • Wow, thanks so much!! Thanks!!
