  • @sainertiaticsp I completely agree, it my be because i am also a bass trombone. But our school played this for our yearly Jazz Fest and it went very well, and we took it to the Ohio State Jazz Fest and got some great feedback there too. But yea I'm really liken that first trumpet! Keep blowin man! And some great Trombone Balance at the end there. Beautiful song and very well played!

  • they didn't amp the piano! i was so annoyed.. you couldn't hear the cool sustained piano parts.

    but i'm glad it was caught on tape!

  • I'm performing this piece tonight. I love the work, but you really need a full set of trombones for this piece. Bass trombone also works much better than tuba for this piece. And I'm not just saying that because I'm the bass trombone player.
