Melija's parents are Visayan and she's proud of it! Melija's campaign is to encourage the youth develop their God- given talents especially in music and arts and to educate / guide the youth on how to use their time wisely and productively by staying away from vices or habits that may negatively affect their health and well-being. Melija will forever be thankful to her supporters and fans especially the ones who continue to support her up to the present time. She appreciates messages being sent to her through e-mail and more. She will always be thankful for the opportunity that Alpha Music Corporation and Harmony Music had given her to record her own album, music videos (aired on TFC, GMA, Campus Videos, etc.), mall tours, radio guestings, t.v. guestings and more. It changed her life and has been opening more doors of opportunities for her in the field of music and arts.
