  • How you found this version?

I have the others versions of the fool, the original for example, but this i'm never hear before.

  • @RamisAbud1 ...on an album called "Rock 'n' Roll Love Songs" i downloaded from iTunes....

  • Thanks to Bear Family for keeping Sanford Clark's music in print.

  • @tapper1477 ...yep, in fact..thanks to Bear Family for everything, so much music has become available that would never have seen the light of day if it weren't for them...ie many alternate versions and outtakes...

  • SANFORD CLARK The Fool is a 55 ★s

  • Thanks for the comment, this versions not bad but WMG wouldn't let me post the original hence the comment in the info box, strange how they don't have the copyrights to the rest of his music!

  • This one is the best of them all...

  • @Brojofus is there a Paul's version??i must listen it!

  • Sir Paul McCartney referred to this song as a country and western tune. This is rockabilly to the core, not country and western. Sorry Sir Paul, I respectfully disagree. YouTube has removed Sir Paul's version due to copyright infringements. He did a good job but Sanford Clark's is the best of all including Elvis, Conway Twitty, Johnny Burnette, Don Gibson, Bob Luman and all the rest. I am a huge Elvis and Conway fan but I have to tell it like I see it.

    Al Casey on guitar rocks!

  • Like the other version, but this is OK.

  • Yes! Bear Fam. records is a valuable resource that should be patronized to keep the "oldies" (classics) very much alive. This more timid version was better left on the shelf, but is interesting nonetheless. Thanx!

  • I like this alternate too!

  • @RamisAbud1 ..have just managed to post the original version for comparison....

  • Prefer the remake by Johnny Burnette.
