You are the definition of an idiot.
There is no supernatural karma, it's made up to make imbeciles like your think that a sense of fairness echoes through the universe.
And isn't a touch unfair that people, with only their skin tone in common, should get punished for the acts of people 100 years ago?
Grow a brain.

I totally agree with your opinion.

Two years down the track and I stumble on this. I am a survivor of Black Saturday, trapped in Kinglake. Those who have written kind words for the horror we saw and lived through, thank you, much love to you. Those who have put in their two cents worth and know nothing of our laws and how our country works plus the fools who add comments that have nothing to do with the topic, please keep hurtful ignorant comments to youselves. We suffered huge terror, trauma, saw death. We are still suffering.

Looking back on the anniversary of a natural disaster and sending condolences and many thanks to all who were involved in rescue and recovery efforts.

@Olatunje this is the dumbest moron i have ever heard of. To think this was the only country that stole land from natives is retarded.. let alone the fact that living in australia now, does not make you one of the few ENGLISHMEN that were so horrible to the indigenous population.. "The evil empire", what a stupid thing to say.. How is australia an empire? And do u have any idea how much charity australia dedicates to the rest of the world?? probably even to your country, wherever that is. CHILD!

@anonpsycho88 Incorrect. The Gippsland fire started a couple of days beforehand, but there were 40 fires that day, most of which started midday of the day of the disaster. Most of the deaths occurred in Kinglake and Kinglake West where the fires fueled by 100km/h winds and 46 degree heat, moved so fastarrived before anyone knew they were there. Not to mention the fire had a front of something like 20 km width. You want to try escaping that?

@anonpsycho88 I can understand where you're coming from, but one thing you may not understand is that bushfires are commonplace here, and the "stay and defend" strategy has worked innumerable times before. People here in the bush are highly skilled and well prepared for events such as bushfires - we get on average about 200 fires a year. But once in a few decades the severity takes people by surprise - Ash Wednesday in 1983 was the last time, before that it was in 1967.

@a53fly Thankyou
I nearly stopped all further comments on here, after reading some of the sick and mean things said. It does sicken me how heartless people seem to flock to videos like this.
But after reading kind and heartfelt messages from a number of people, I feel that it would be an injustice to prevent others from sending their condolences & regards to the many Australians effected.
Australia thanks you all

I too can't believe the types of people that a video like this attracts! It seems that certain people flock to tragedy...not to give support but to laugh and make fun of the people effected! This sickens me terribly.
There are far too many people hurting from the fires; lost lives, families and friends.
Australia is made up of all races & creeds. We are always there to help others, in times of trouble...We always pull together & we will make it through this!
I am glad to be Australian.
